Enable replies on secondary tumblrs

I just wanted to let everyone know that you can now enable replies on secondary tumblrs. Just go to the specific blog’s settings page, hit the check mark, and save.

This isn’t a Missing e feature, but now part of Tumblr’s interface thanks to Jacob Bijanji!

Missing e v2.9.1 - Fix for disappearing reply box. Update now!

It looks like Tumblr’s staff are still tweaking their recent dashboard interface changes!

Earlier today, a Tumblr change caused a problem with Missing e that made reply boxes disappear when you click on them.

This is now fixed! Update to the newest version to solve the problem.

Updating

If you want the new version immediately, DO NOT uninstall and reinstall Missing e, instead, read the instructions on how to update:

Note for Firefox users: Until the new version of the extension is reviewed by the Mozilla Add-Ons site, you can update just by installing the new version over top of your existing one from the versions page. If version 2.9.1 or higher does not appear in the list, you can wait until later, or use this direct link to install.

How to reply to replies (and other notifications) with Missing e

You can reply to notifications on your dashboard. Notifications like these show up when you have the setting “Show notifications” turned on in your Tumblr preferences.

Simply click on the notification icon on the right side of one of these notifications (heart, reply arrow, etc) to open a new post with the notification already added, ready for you to comment on.

You can also reply to notes displayed by clicking on the “notes” button of a dashboard post. Simply click on the notification icon on the right side of one of these notes to open a new post with the notifcation already added, ready for you to comment on.

Replying to more than one notification at once

  1. Hold down the Shift key and click on the icons of each of the notifications you want to reply to.
  2. Click (without Shift) on the icon of the last notification you want to include.
  3. All the notifications will appear in a single reply post!
