Delayed Bug Fixes and the Hunt for a Job
I just wanted to apologize for the time it is taking to address some of the unfixed bugs in Missing e.
Over the past little while, I’ve been flying to and from New York City for interviews during my job hunt. It has left me a little frazzled.
Today is likely my last interview, so I will be able to put some more focus on Missing e starting this evening.
Again, I apologize and I will keep you updated on bug fixes and new versions on this blog.
Current issues I’m working on this weekend
A couple of issues have been brought up by Missing e users. I will be looking into them this weekend.
The first is that the “open ask boxes on the dash” and avatar magnifier features appear to be opening an extra tab in some browsers.
The other is a malfunctioning Quick (1-Click) Reblog feature, though I believe this may be limited to Firefox 15.

On ‘Missing e’ bugs….
I just want to remind you all that I am only one guy.
I do my best to keep Missing e fresh and new with added functionality, but bugs happen. On top of that, every once in a while when Tumblr makes changes to their interface, some of Missing e’s features can become broken or just start to look a bit odd.
Unfortunately, I don’t always notice quickly enough. Sometimes, it isn’t something I’d see unless I knew exactly what I was looking for. So, if you encounter problems, please follow this two-and-a-half-step process:
(1) Update Missing e to see if the problem is already fixed.
(1.5) If the problem is with the way Tumblr looks, check to see if it is a Missing e problem by temporarily disabling it in your browser’s extensions list to see if the problem goes away. If it does, then Missing e might be the issue.
(2) Once you’re satisfied that the bug is a Missing e problem, please drop by my askbox or send me Fan Mail to let me know!
Do your best to describe the problem and how to repeat it (so I can try it out myself) and I’ll do my best to get you a fix as soon as possible.
