Small Fix for Automatic Queue Tagging in Quick Reblogging
Thanks to thedoktah, I was able to find out that the Quick (1-click) Reblogging option in the Better Reblogs feature was not automatically adding tags when you queued posts using it.
This is now fixed in version 2.0.7!
If you want the new version immediately, DO NOT uninstall and reinstall Missing e, instead, read the instructions on how to update:
For Firefox users only (IMPORTANT): I am still having trouble with the Mozilla Add-Ons site. Please use this direct link to update: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/130218/missing_e-2.0.8-fx.xpi (I have also changed the Firefox button on the Missing e homepage to point there).

Missing e version 2.0.5
A handful of new features for you!
Spanish Localization
Missing e’s features now support the Tumblr Spanish language interface (which is now in beta)
Thanks to xn—lhutemoc-skbd for help with the translations.
Timestamps are Back
Now that Tumblr is adding post times to your posts on the dash, Missing e is able to improve it by:
- Converting the Tumblr timestamp to your custom format and displaying it visibly on the dashboard
- Display the timestamp in your local time zone (not EST/EDT)
Note: This feature is highly dependent on Tumblr’s new post time implementation, which is fairly new. If they change it in the future, Timestamps will not work correctly until I can fix it.
Automatic Tagging of Queued Posts
Now, you can automatically tag any post with whatever tags you choose whenever you queue it!
- This feature is disabled by default!
- If you want to use it after you’ve updated to 2.0.5, go into the settings (find out how) to enable it
- You will find this setting in the Post Features tab, in the Posting Fixes section
This feature most recently suggested by thedoktah
Mass Draft/Queue Post Deletion
Much like the mass delete option in the Ask Fixes feature, you can use this to select multiple posts in your Drafts or Queue pages.
- Simply click on the checkboxes to select all the posts you want to delete and click the “Delete Selected” button in your sidebar!
Thanks to mangtimang for the feature suggestion (from a long time ago)!

Another upload inline images fix AND compatibility on unreleased versions of Firefox
Some Chrome users on Windows 7 noticed that the “+ Upload photo” button did not work some of the time with the recent fix I added.
I have since used a different technique that I’ve confirmed works more reliably on those systems.
At this point, it is only necessary to update if you are noticing a problem. Otherwise you can wait.
Also, I have updated the Firefox version of Missing e to support Firefox versions up to 8.0a2. Those of you using bleeding-edge versions of that browser should now be able to install Missing e!

Upload Inline Images in Rich Text Editor - Fixed in v2.0.2
Looks like a small issue with using the inline image uploading function with Tumblr’s Rich Text Editor came up yesterday. It has been fixed in Missing e v2.0.2
For anyone on Chrome or Safari who is having trouble using the “+ Upload photo” button for all types of posts (not juts text posts), you should update to the newest version. Firefox users who previously updated to version 2.0.1, do not need to update.
If you want the new version immediately, DO NOT uninstall and reinstall Missing e, instead, read the instructions on how to update:

Inline image uploading fixed in Missing e v2.0.1
Yesterday, some Tumblr changes broke part of the Posting Fixes feature that adds a “+ Upload photo” button to all types of posts (not juts text posts) so you can upload images to insert into your post’s body.
I’ve been able to fix this feature in a new release of Missing e!

+ Upload photo
A recent change in the Tumblr backend seems to be preventing Missing e from adding the “+ Upload photo” button (for adding inline images) to new posts (other than text) as part of the Posting Fixes feature.
I’m not sure if this was intentional or not, but I will be looking into a fix to bring this feature back to Missing e.
‘Missing e’ 1.7.6 - Resizable Rich Text Editor, Performance Improvements
A rather minor update to Missing e went out this morning.
Included in this update:
- Performance improvement for calls to the Tumblr API (used for the Better Reblogs, Magnifier, Reblog Yourself, and Timestamps features)
- Ability to resize the editing box for Tumblr’s Rich Text Editor [suggested by thefrogman]
Resize by dragging this guy

Upcoming New Features in ‘Missing e’ version 1.5.7
- Automatically add an Edit button to your sub-Tumblr account (secondary Tumblr account) individual post pages
- Open ask boxes without leaving the dashboard or opening a new tab by clicking on an “i ” user menu (this option will be opt-in)
- Enforce maximum font size for Tumblr dashboard post text (only affects <big> tags, this option will be opt-in)
I have finished developing these features. Along, with a few minor bug fixes, I’ve also added a tiny feature with which you can simply load the Missing e website to find out if you have the most up-to-date version of Missing e.
Most likely, Missing e version 1.5.7 will be release sometime this week. Currently, I am hoping that Mozilla will review the existing 1.5.6 version so that people who have not updated their add-on since the new Tumblr dashboard layout came out will have it done automatically for them.
It seems like Mozilla still has a backlog for add-on reviews, so they are taking longer than their estimate of three days (which would have been three days ago). I am holding out because as soon as I upload version 1.5.7, Missing e will get pushed back to the end of the review queue.
Once that process has been completed, you will hear from me regarding version 1.5.7!

Missing e version 1.2.1
Along with some under-the-hood fixes and performance improvements (including moving to jQuery 1.6.1), there are some new features!
Ask Timestamps

- Unanswered ask messages will now be stamped with the date/time they were asked
Automatic Tagging and Draft/Private Buttons on Asks
Note that these features are off, by default. To activate them, follow these instructions.

- Add “Draft” and “Private” buttons for answering asks
- Allow tagging of asks when you answer them (including the username of the asker)
It should be noted that these ask-related features would not have been possible without the help of lizzledpink
Extra Blog Selector Menu
Note that this feature is off, by default. You can activate this option in the settings under the Posting Fixes tab.

- Add an extra menu to select which Tumblr blog on which to post (when you have secondary blogs)
This feature was suggested by tj.
Sortable Bookmarks

- Bookmarks are now sortable
- Just drag them to anywhere on the list
Unfortunately, you might find that the first time you load your Tumblr after installing this version, your bookmarks may reverse in order. Sorry!
This feature was suggested by sterling-archer.
For those of you using Firefox, version 1.2.1 will not automatically update until it is reviewed by Mozilla. If you want to get it sooner, you can get it on the Add-on’s Other Versions page.
If you ever have problems with any feature, consult the Missing e FAQ page.
