Missing e {browser extension for tumblr}

Having trouble with the Post Crushes feature, today?

First of all, if you have a version Missing e older than 1.1.4, make sure to update it, as there was a Post Crushes problem that was solved with that update.

Otherwise, the free server on which the Post Crushes generator runs (missinge.host22.com, which is not the same server on which the website runs) seems to be having a pretty terrible service day. Just try it again.

Basically, this is how Post Crushes works:

1. You load your following page
2. You click on the Post Crushes generator link under your crushes
3. A post is automatically generated with your crushes (as links to their Tumblrs)
   • There is a URL pre-filled that points to the Post Crushes generator
4. When you click “Create Post” (or what have you), Tumblr attempts to get the generated image from the generator site
5. The generator site gets the filenames of all the Tumblr avatars in your crushes, and your options (big avatar/small avatar, show percentages, etc) and builds a crush image (independent of the one you see on your following page), then returns it to Tumblr to post
   • When there’s a problem here or the generator site takes to long, Tumblr tells you there was an error

So, today, it appears that the generator site is running slowly. I apologize for that, but there’s nothing I can do. If it continues for a long time, I will look into finding another server to host the generator script!
