Missing e 2.14.3 available - Fix for wonky-looking sidebar buttons (including for Bookmarker this time)
I’ve made style changes to fix the sidebar buttons that seemed to have repeating icons (including for the Bookmarker feature, which I forgot in the last update).
Again, thanks for bearing with me. It has been a smooth move to New York, but it is still a move to a completely new place.

Fixes for Tumblr Changes Coming Soon
Many users have noticed some garbling of the look of some Missing e features.
I will do my best to get a fix out for this today or tomorrow.
Please excuse the delay as I just moved from Toronto to New York City yesterday afternoon!
Oops! Are you having trouble Quick Reblogging?
I made a change to Missing e a couple hours ago that broke Quick Reblog for some users.
The problem is now fixed, so if you are having trouble, simply update to the newest version: http://missing-e.com/update
I apologize for any inconvenience!
Missing e 2.13.3: Some Fixes
I’ve just released Missing e 2.13.3 with a couple of fixes:
- Fix an issue causing some users being unable to create Reply Replies for notes that show up in a post when you click on the notes count
- Safe Dash now hides the new Tumblr videos when enabled
- Fix a problem with multiple checkboxes showing up on messages in your inbox (part of the Ask Tweaks feature)
I wanted to take an opportunity to thank Tumblr user absolutefucker for helping me fix the Reply Replies issue which has been frustrating a bunch of users for quite some time!
Missing e v2.13.0
I’ve released a new version of Missing e to support the new Tumblr dash that came out this evening!
I wanted to release this as soon as possible, so I have not fixed everything yet. Here is a list of what should be fixed:
- Styling issues arising from the new Tumblr dashboard layout
- Placement of Mass Delete buttons
- Quick (1-click) Reblog menu shows blog selector drop-down
- Reblog yourself from one blog back to that same blog
These issues still remain (I am continuing to work on them):
- Smart redirect feature is not working
- Magnifying the avatar of a dashboard notification opens that user’s blog in a new tab
Also, please note that the added blog sidebar buttons on your dashboard is now provided by the Tumblr interface, not Missing e. I’m not sure why they’ve chosen to hide some of the buttons (like Queue and Messages), but I will look into ways to improve it!

If you have trouble, clear your browser cache after you update Missing e.
Firefox Users
A recent change to the Firefox tools that are used to create this extension have caused Missing e to be no longer be compatible with Firefox versions below 13. I will look into this to see if I can restore backwards compatibility, but it is worthwhile to keep Firefox up-to-date anyway. You should be able to update Firefox from your browser’s menu.
For anyone who missed the update yesterday. Keep in mind that the current version is 2.13.1 as I am continuing to release fixes as I find problems.

Missing e 2.12.0: Fix for Magnifier feature
Included in Missing e 2.12.0 is a fix for the Magnifier feature that stopped working earlier today. The fix I’ve implemented is not 100% tested, but I wanted to get something working out to you sooner.
I’ve also made a few other small fixes, including improving the spacing of wrapped tags that was affected by a recent Tumblr change.
