Missing e 2.13.2: Fix for Reblog Yourself and Firefox Users
I’ve just released a new version of Missing e that fixes some problems with the last Firefox release and also corrects a problem that added blogs incorrectly for the Reblog Yourself feature (for users that have commas in their blog titles).
Missing e for Firefox - Currently Unavailable
The Firefox version of the extension is not available at the moment. I have some work to do this evening to correct some issues found by the Mozilla Add Ons site where Missing e is hosted.
I will resolve the issue as soon as possible and keep you updated on when it is available!
Missing e 2.12.0 for Firefox Available Again!
Sorry for the small hiccup there, but Missing e is again available for Firefox again!
If you want the new version now, you can update here: missing-e.com/update
Please Note:
A recent change to the Firefox tools that are used to create this extension have caused Missing e to be no longer be compatible with Firefox versions below 13. I will look into this to see if I can restore backwards compatibility, but it is worthwhile to keep Firefox up-to-date anyway. You should be able to update Firefox from your browser’s menu.
Can’t update Firefox? Still want to keep using Missing e?
I just updated Missing e to version 2.10.4 which should restore compatibility to people who aren’t using the most up-to-date version of Firefox.
Basically, if you use Firefox and Missing e worked for you yesterday, this version should also work for you!

Missing e missing? Are you using an old version of Firefox?
Firefox users may notice that new versions of Missing e don’t work or seem to disappear.
This seems to be because the newest version of the framework Missing e is built on needs the current version of Firefox.
I may be able to find a workaround, but it would only be temporary.
Instead, I suggest you update Firefox to the current version (that would be 13 at the moment).
Missing e v2.5.6 - Fixed Settings Import for Firefox
This update is only important for Firefox users!
It was brought to my attention by wishonwyatt that the import function in the Missing e settings page that allows you to restore your settings from a saved file stopped working.
This update fixes this problem.
Firefox users: If you do not want to wait for automatic updates, you can update just by installing the new version over top of your existing one from the versions page.
If version 2.5.6 or higher does not appear in the list, you can wait until later, or use this direct link to install.
Missing e v2.5.5
Simpler Highlighted Posts
I’ve added a new option to the Dashboard Tweaks feature to simplify how the new Tumblr highlighted posts are displayed on the dash. They’ll still grab attention and have nifty message ribbons, but they will flow better with other posts in your dash.
This option is disabled by default. If you want to use it, you must turn in on in the Missing e settings page (find out how to get there).
Other Fixes
- The new implementation for Reblog Yourself now displays the “Send to Twitter” checkbox so you can choose whether or not to post to twitter.
- A bug for the extra post buttons (Queue, Draft, Private) in the Tumblr Share bookmarklet has been fixed for users of Firefox 10 and higher.

For Firefox users having trouble installing the current version (2.4.8)
Sometimes, the Firefox Add-Ons page takes a while to refresh when a new version is uploaded.
In the meantime, here is a direct link to the current Firefox version: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/142267/missing_e-2.4.8-fx.xpi
Firefox Users: Have you had that problem where Reply Replies posts show up with just the text ‘null’?
If so, Missing e version 2.3.3 is for you!
I’ve significantly modified the way that the Reply Replies feature opens a new post and fills it, so it should no longer cause this problem.

Version 2.3.1: Fix for Firefox
There’s a fix for Firefox users in version 2.3.1.
Apparently, I made a mistake that reset any custom settings you may have had in the Ask Tweaks, Dashboard Tweaks and Posting Tweaks features.
If you update to version 2.3.1, it will bring back your customizations for those features.
Chrome and Safari users do not need this update.
Also, thanks to ehalcyon for noticing the issue!
