Missing e 2.3.6: Bookmarks preserved when clearing browser cache!
In the newest update to Missing e, I’ve added a small tweak that will preserve your Missing e bookmarks even if you clear your browser’s cache, cookies or local site data.
Prior to this version, if you cleared your browser’s data, you’d lose your bookmarks. With this new update, that problem no longer exists!
Updating
If you want the new version immediately, DO NOT uninstall and reinstall Missing e, instead, read the instructions on how to update:
***
Firefox users: Until the new version of the extension is reviewed by the Mozilla Add-Ons site, you can update just by installing the new version over top of your existing one from the versions page.
If version 2.3.6 or higher does not appear in the list, you can wait until later, or use this direct link to install.

‘Missing e’: Don’t lose your saved bookmarks!
Missing e stores your list of bookmarked posts in your browser using something called DOM Local Storage.
It is possible that this data will be lost if you clear your browser data.
Chrome
Using Chrome’s Clear Browsing Data tool, if you activate the option “Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data”, all of your bookmarks will be lost.
Firefox
Using Firefox’s Clear All History tool, if you activate the option “Cookies” and select Everything under “Time range to clear”, all of your bookmarks will be lost.
Safari
The only way to delete DOM Local Storage in Safari is by digging into your profile directory and deleting files manually. Therefore, I assume that if you know what you are doing, you also understand that your information may be lost.
