Missing e 2.14.3 available - Fix for wonky-looking sidebar buttons (including for Bookmarker this time)
I’ve made style changes to fix the sidebar buttons that seemed to have repeating icons (including for the Bookmarker feature, which I forgot in the last update).
Again, thanks for bearing with me. It has been a smooth move to New York, but it is still a move to a completely new place.

Missing e v 2.7.10 - Fixed bookmarks and some new features
This new version has a few fixes for some minor issues related to Tumblr’s new post icons.
Most important are a few other changes, though.
~ Bookmarks (Error Page) ~
Some change was made in Tumblr’s backend that caused many Missing e bookmarks to display an error page when you try to load them. With the help of several Missing e users, I believe the problem is now fixed!
~ Quick Reblog Tag Input ~
There’s a couple of changes here that were suggested by Missing e users like you.
First, the input box for tags in the Quick (1-Click) Reblog menu has been increased in size to make it easier to add/edit a larger group of tags for your reblogs:

Second, a new keyboard shortcut has been added for quick reblog users (find out how to activate quick reblogging) In order add/edit tags without having to hover your mouse over a reblog button, just hit the T key to open the tags box. Once you are done, hit Enter or Return to complete the tags and then the normal R, Q or D keys to reblog the post (or reblog to your queue or drafts).
~ Auto-Tag Reblogs ~
A new option has been added to the Better Reblogs feature. Much like the existing option in Posting Tweaks that allows you to specify tags to automatically add to posts that you queue, you can now specify one or more tags that will automatically be added to posts when you reblog them!
Updating
If you want the new version immediately, DO NOT uninstall and reinstall Missing e, instead, read the instructions on how to update:
Note for Firefox users: Until the new version of the extension is reviewed by the Mozilla Add-Ons site, you can update just by installing the new version over top of your existing one from the versions page. If version 2.7.10 or higher does not appear in the list, you can wait until later, or use this direct link to install.

Missing e v2.7.6 - Fix for Bookmarked Post Error Pages
Some recent change to Tumblr’s interface is causing some Missing e-bookmarked posts to return error pages.
I’ve figured out a fix for this in version 2.7.6!
If you haven’t hit this problem yet, then don’t worry, it isn’t urgent for you.

Remember where you left off in the dash with Missing e’s Bookmarker feature!
If you are anything like me, you spend a lot of time going through your Tumblr dashboard.
What happens if you need to get something productive done? What if you can’t get back on Tumblr for a while? How will you know where you stopped?
~ Save your place with Bookmarker ~
That’s just one of the possible uses of the Missing e Bookmarker feature. Simply click the bookmark icon of where you stopped going back or the last post you read (if you know where to stop tomorrow) and an entry is added to your list of bookmarks in the sidebar!
Next time you are on Tumblr, just click the bookmark entry to continue from there, or watch for the helpful bookmark bar that is added above that post in the dash to know how far you got last time.
When you no longer need a bookmark, remove it by clicking the post’s bookmark icon, or clicking on the x next to that bookmark in your sidebar list.
~ Bookmark Labels ~
By default, a new bookmark label will be a current timestamp. You can change the default bookmark label format in the Missing e settings (find out how).
You can also create or modify an existing bookmark with a custom label. Hold down the Shift key when clicking on a bookmark icon, or hold down the Shift key when clicking on an existing entry in the sidebar bookmark list to give it a custom name.
Missing e v2.5.0 - Keyboard Shortcuts
Tumblr already allows you to navigate your dashboard using only your keyboard:

Missing e 2.3.6: Bookmarks preserved when clearing browser cache!
In the newest update to Missing e, I’ve added a small tweak that will preserve your Missing e bookmarks even if you clear your browser’s cache, cookies or local site data.
Prior to this version, if you cleared your browser’s data, you’d lose your bookmarks. With this new update, that problem no longer exists!

Tutorial: Renaming ‘Missing e’ Bookmarks
You can set a custom name for a bookmark when you create it:
- Hold down the Shift key when you click on the bookmark icon of a post.
- A popup box will appear for you to write in the custom bookmark name.
You can also change the name of an existing bookmark:

- Hold down the Shift key when you click on a bookmark in the list in your dashboard sidebar.
- The link will change to an input where you can type in the custom name.
- Click the checkmark (or anywhere outside the textbox, really), or hit Enter to confirm the name change.
- If you decide not to change the name, just press the Esc key.
Also, you can specify the default format for new bookmark names in the Missing e settings page!
- Go to the settings page (find out how)
- You’ll find it under the Dashboard Features tab, under Bookmarker
- You can use any combination of the special codes which will be replaced with the current time or the username of the poster of the bookmarked post
Little Things
When you add a bookmark to a post with Missing e, it adds a bookmark bar just above it.
Except, did you notice that your screen stays in the exact same place even though something has been added to the page above where you are?
There’s a few lines of JavaScript in Missing e that shifts your browser’s viewing area by the exact size of the added bookmark bar.
The end result? No nasty jumping around on your dash!
It’s the little things I like the best.
