Voting for the Shorty Awards is now closed. At the final count, Missing e had 1,613 nominations.
Missing e hasn’t won yet, though.
The Shorty Awards will do a final audit of all the votes, discounting nominations that don’t meet their rules (for example, nominations for which the reason given is not appropriate for the category). Once that is complete, the account with the highest number of votes wins the Shorty Vox Populi (for popular vote).
The Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences will then review the top six contestants in each category in order to select the winner of the Shorty Award.
I do not know when the winners will be announced, but I’m crossing my fingers for an invite to the awards ceremony in NYC on March 26!
